How weapon swapping works
You carry two weapons at once, and T swaps between them. Each weapon has its own skills, so a swap changes what keys 1 to 3 do. The beginner guides treat the second slot as part of your build: keep a weapon whose skills are off cooldown ready while the first recovers. Weapons are summoned, so browse the weapons list for what each one does.
Unlocking the ultimate
Every weapon has a fourth skill, its ultimate, and it stays locked until the weapon is evolved. Once it is open, G fires it. Evolving takes items from stages and a visit to the Evolution NPC; the evolution guide walks through it.
Combat basics for dungeons
- Group enemies together before you use an area skill, so one cast hits more of them.
- Dash with Q out of attacks rather than trading blows with a boss.
- Watch the boss timing and dash on its wind-up, not after the hit lands.
- Swap weapons with T while the first weapon's skills are on cooldown.
