Anime Zero pity is the guaranteed Mythic you reach after 175 spins, and it sits on top of two kinds of summon: normal Rolls and Lucky Spins. This guide lays out the odds the published weapon list gives for each rarity, what Lucky Spins change, where spins come from and what we could not confirm.
Rolls and Lucky Spins
Weapons come from the Arsenal, and you pay for each summon with a Roll or a Lucky Spin. Both come from the same places: codes, quests and achievements, Story mode and raids. Lucky Spins use a different odds table, and it matters which one you spend. The next section has the numbers.
Anime Zero summon odds by rarity
Beebom's weapon list gives the odds per weapon. Roll and Lucky are the chance for each weapon on a normal roll and on a Lucky Spin; Total is the rarity's combined chance, normal roll / Lucky Spin. The totals per rarity are our arithmetic from that table and are marked as approximate.
| Rarity | Weapons | Roll | Lucky | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Epic | Rubber Man, Cosmic Warrior, Thunder Prodigy | 26.29% | 0% | about 79% / 0% |
| Legendary | Twisted Agony, King's Gambit | 8.41% | 42.16% | about 17% / 84% |
| Mythic | Lights of Divinity, Dragon Eclipse, Immortal Sovereign | 1.4% | 4.82% | about 4.2% / 14.5% |
| Arcane | Cursed King, Divine Emperor | 0.04% | 0.4% | about 0.08% / 0.8% |
| Top rarity (LYTH) | Cataclysm | 0.005% | 0.01% | 0.005% / 0.01% |
Mochi Commander is an Arcane weapon that the same table lists under the Zenless banner, so it is left out of the rarity totals. Shadow Monarch and Flame Director cannot be summoned at all; see the raids guide.
How the 175-spin Anime Zero pity works
Beebom states that a Mythic is guaranteed at 175 spins. The sources we read do not say whether Lucky Spins count the same as Rolls toward that total, so count both until you see otherwise in the game. One fan wiki also gives a separate pity of about 3,000 for Cataclysm. We found only that one source and treat it as unconfirmed.
Which spin should you use?
- Lucky Spins cannot land Epic weapons, since their Epic odds are 0%. About 84% of them land on Legendary and about 14.5% on Mythic, so they suit a player who already owns the Epic weapons.
- Normal Rolls land on Epic about four times in five. They fill weapon slots, and only about 4% of them reach Mythic.
- Evolution is the other thing that takes your resources, so read the evolution guide before you plan what to spend.
Where the weapons you roll for land in the tier lists is on the weapons tier list. The beginner guide shows how to order your first spins.
